Product Description:

Ultracide 64 & Ultracide73 is derived from esterifying glycerol with a mix of Caprylic and Capric (C8:C10) fatty acids, which are fractionalized from palm kernel oil

Applications:

• MCTs are bland and non-polar compared to other fats and do not generate off-notes (dissonant tastes) as quickly as LCTs.  Because of these attributes, they are widely used as carrier oils or solvents for flavours, oral medicines, topical aerosols, creams, ointments, lotions and vitamins.

• MCT oil can enhance the consistency of an emulsion used in skincare, haircare & cosmetic products as it provides a light and highly stable moisturizing base that carries neutral sensory characteristics.

• Because of their shorter length, MCTs are more easily digested than the long-chain fatty acids and is converted easily into instant source of energy, hence it is used in Nutraceutical applications

• MCT is also used in the confectionery such as, chocolates, jellies, gums, boiled sweets and panned sweets. Adding to it, it can provide sheen appearance in confectionary when coated with MCT Oil
